DR. C. HELEN MALONE
BOARD-CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST AND MOHS SURGEON
Dr. C. Helen Malone is a dual board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologist with additional training in Plastic Surgery. During her second year of undergraduate training, she was accepted into the prestigious Medical Honors program at the University of Florida College of Medicine and graduated with honors in 2009. She spent several years in plastic surgery training in Springfield, IL before deciding to specialize in Mohs surgery. She completed a dermatology residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She worked with Dr. Richard Wagner to start a Mohs Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch and was the inaugural fellow. She spent three years teaching at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and was the director of the Laser & Cosmetic Dermatology Department. Dr. Malone spent several years in private practice in North Carolina before joining Georgia Skin Cancer in 2024. Dr. Malone has performed at least 20,000 surgeries and over 12,000 skin cancer surgeries. Dr. Malone has more than 30 publications and over 40 citations. She takes great pride in her commitment to excellent patient care.
